Ongoing Fundraising Efforts

Looking for an easy way to help the PTA raise funds to invest in programs for our young scholars?  Below are our ongoing fundraisers that require either a one-time setup, mentioning DJV when purchasing your every day products, or collecting box tops.

How do I activate AmazonSmile on my Amazon Shopping app?
AmazonSmile customers on Android devices with version 5.0+ or iOS devices with version 12+, who have upgraded to the latest version of the Amazon Shopping app can find “AmazonSmile” listed in the Settings menu. From there, you can follow onboarding instructions to activate AmazonSmile on your device.
How to Shop Amazon Smile on Mobile Browser
One of the drawbacks to AmazonSmile, is you have to make your purchases through the AmazonSmile site. Purchases through the regular Amazon site and their mobile site won’t give a donation. Fortunately, there’s a workaround.
  • If you regularly shop Amazon through your mobile browser, simply navigate to smile.amazon.com instead and you’re set! It will be a very similar experience to what you are used to.
  • If you regularly shop Amazon through the Amazon app you could add items to your cart via the app but finish the checkout process on your browser. (Just make sure you are at smile.amazon.com) 
Harris Teeter
Harris Teeter's Together in Education program gives schools a chance to earn funds when you link your VIC card and shop Harris Teeter brands. Visit Harris Teeter to link the following DJV vic code today!

Box Tops
The Box Tops program is a simple way to raise funds for DJV.  Please take a moment to click on the links below to learn how you can help.

  • If you purchase an item with the "clip it style Box Top", please cut and bring these to the School Office or you can mail them to the school at: Attention DJV PTA, 8601 Old Concord Rd, Charlotte, NC 28213
  • If you purchase an item with a "scan style Box Top", please download the app and scan today.
  • Fall Submission Deadline: October 27, 2020
  • Spring Submission Deadline: February 23, 2021
*Please note the "clip it style" will be phased out in the future.
